Comments: The village of Arure, belonging to the municipalty of Valle Gran Rey, extends from El Jape to Acardece, 1.5 km apart. It average height is 800 meters. It´s located at the west of La Gomera, near the head of the gorge of Arure, which extends towards the south-west. The relative humidity is often quite high thanks to the trade winds, except in the "south weather" days, becoming one of the wormest areas of the island.
